Can you see great whites? Of course you can!
Viewing great whites sharks from a cage or from the deck of a boat is an increasingly popular adventure for people everywhere. Because great whites spend a lot of time at the surface it is possible to view them without being certified in scuba. White Shark Video recommends the following companies for viewing great whites in North America and South Africa and will even help you plan your trip.
SDI is one of the dive companies working out of the San Francisco Bay Area. These guys use a smaller boat than the competitors, allowing easier maneuverability when a shark attack is sited while also preventing too many customers from waiting their turn to get in the cage. This friendly and experienced team has been taking divers to the Farallones since 1998 without incident. Oh, and they have a hot tub on board so divers can regain their body heat after the dive.
